Did you just guess that this would work, well it won't because it is internet myth & will do nothing except fix minor issues such as resetting the check engine light. ecu capacitors will hold current for hours & nothing you have done here will drain them. So, your ecu will still remember the old parameters.

You got two different videos saying it resets the car..?? So which is right , do you remove both the negative and the positive and then link those together to reset it or do you just take off the negative and grounded out with the positive still attached to the battery? Which one do you do? I mean, messing up Cars bro you gotta decide which videos the correct video here.

Check coil it was fine so replace fuel filter just recently found out that it may have the brain box. I've heard of disconnecting the cable watch the video and liked it my question is the tipm the same as the ECU is that the same as brain box? And what's the difference between a hard reset and a soft reset? Again the van is always drove by and it was our church van always had a tank of gas right now I run on here a lot and even ran out a couple times should I check the new fuel filter it's only been 2 weeks should I drop the gas tank and clean it? Ssangyong Rexton 290 2002 automatic, would not shift to 4th gear and would usually shift very ruffly otherwise. After doing the reset, as shown in the video, shifting to 4th is no longer an issue. Also it shifts like a dream between all the gears now. Thank you very much good Sir!

Why didn't airbag light go off after reset?

Hoping this will work for my 2002 Dodge Ram. Need a good battery first though. Had it running earlier but not enough juice within the battery to keep it going with my foot on the gas.

but why not disconnect the positive and then ground it out so that you don’t have a positive charge continuing to trickle charge the lines great idea though

After replacing the fuel pump in my Jeep grand cherokee laredo 3.7 WK- Im now having a problem with a vapor lock and my new pump is making a ringing/humming noise off and on-is there a way to fix it with a inline check valve or inline filter of some sort. I have to release pressure on the fuel rail to re-crank it after it runs for more than 20 minutes/ which is a possible fire risk.
